The free tour includes an informative walkthrough of WordPress. On a dummy site, We’ll navigate the menu system, covering system settings, the customisation panel, creating pages, posts, choosing widgets and menus. I’ll demonstrate how to import themes and plugins, emphasizing the importance of a child theme.
No programming experience is needed. This tour is for a complete novice. You will leave feeling empowered to create your own website.
We’ll work directly on your website to discuss and implement the necessary theme, plugins, and settings. We’ll evaluate page-building plugins such as Gutenburg, Elementor and WP-Bakery to choose the best fit for you. Together, we’ll build your home page. This session will be tailored to your specific website needs and what we achieve during the one hour session will be dependent on your goals.
Time permitting, I will also show you how to use cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to give you more control over minor design changes.
You will be in the drivers seat as I guide you.
We will discuss a specific problem you have and will work to solve it. This may include working to achieve a feature with the implementation of compatible plugins such as custom fields or front end posting or changing the theme for more flexibility.
